Year 5, 6 and 7 Residential Trip to Hautbois

Thirty eight pupils from Years 5 to 7 accompanied by four intrepid members of staff last week travelled to Hautbois Outdoor Education Centre in North Norfolk for three days of outdoor activities that tested their leadership and independence skills.

This is an annual trip that always proves popular for so many reasons. The weather was remarkably kind and, coupled with the excellent food and comfortable accommodation, the whole party enjoyed three days where fears were overcome and challenges accepted with vigour and enthusiasm. Activities included abseiling, aerial runway, archery, canoeing, climbing, kayaking, bridge building, bushcraft, obstacle course, orienteering, intuitive tests, shelter building and nature crafts.
