After School Clubs

“We want all students to develop inquisitive minds, a thirst for knowledge and a pride in each new skill mastered. If a child is happy and enjoys learning, the pattern will be set for the rest of his or her school days. At the Downham Preparatory School and Montessori Nursery we strive to achieve this pattern to ensure your child's future educational success.”

Elizabeth Laffeaty-Sharpe, Principal.

After-school clubs are a stimulating and thoroughly enjoyable way for pupils to pursue their interests in greater depth than is normally possible within the weekly timetable. The school runs clubs for children from Reception age onwards. These extra-curricular activities are very popular, and children find they receive valuable staff attention as well as understanding the level of commitment required to make good progress.

Some clubs may only be open to a particular age group or class.
